Brindavanam’ in NTR-Dil Raju combo under Vamsi Paidipally’s direction is going on at a fast pace. The unit had recently completed its shooting at Vikarabad. In this schedule a few key scenes, a couple of fights and songs were shot. Two songs are left for shooting of which one would be picturised in the beautiful locations of Greece. Kajal and Samantha are the two female leads. With love, sentiment, action and family drama, this mass cum family entertainer is slated to release during September.

Though he may be a big star, prince Mahesh Babu has been facing a lot of criticism for his indifference towards colleagues in the cine circuit or events in Tollywood. Pawan Kalyam Next Movie Details

We all know that Pawan Kalyan is doing a remake of Hindi block buster ‘Love Aaj Kal’. This film will take shape under the direction by Jayanth C Paranji and will be produced by Ganesh Babu under Parameshwara Arts banner. Interestingly, Ganesh has registered the title as ‘Kushiga’ at the AP Film Chamber of Commerce. However, the official announcement is yet to be made.
Well! I needn’t have to mention about Pawan’s previous block buster ‘Kushi’ that wooed the young and the old. It’s learnt that Trivikram has suggested this title. He is also writing dialogues and going to handle the screenplay. This flick would kick off in July after the completion of Pawan’s current project ‘Komaram Puli’.

Mahesh Babu Khaleja Movie Updates

Mahesh Babu finally started to dub for his long going film ‘Khaleja’. The dubbing began today and is currently taking place at Shabdalaya Studios. Now except for few songs and a little bit of talkie part, the shooting is almost done. Anushka is pairing with Mahesh for the first time and Prakash Raj, who is a regular co-star to Mahesh is also playing a pivotal role. Being produced by Singanamala Ramesh, C Kalyan is going to present the film in early August. Although the working title is ‘Khaleja’, it is yet to be announced officially. After the super duper hit film ‘Athadu’, this is the second film in Mahesh-Trivikram combination.

NTR'S Brindaavanam Movie Shooting Put off

It is known to all that the shooting of ‘Brindavanam’ involving NTR, Samantha and few other artists is currently happening at Vikarabad forests. This is to be followed by a family song from tomorrow involving the entire cast including Kota Srinivasa Rao, who is also playing an important role in this film. But now it has been postponed due to the death of his son Kota Prasad. As per the schedule time, the unit has to complete the entire shooting except a song by July 10th. So there could be some delay in the film’s release as well, which is otherwise expected in August. 'Brindavanam' is taking shape under Vamsi Paidipalli's direction and Dil Raju's production.

Nayan and Prabhu Deva are now officially married couples and have started to live in their Chennai house. She now settled her life with Prabhu Deva who is already married and had three children. The latest is that the garland interchange was said to have happened in the presence and blessings of Prabhu Deva’s father Master Sundaram and mother Mahadevamma. A special pooja was organised at the house of Master Sundaram at Chennai, and was performed by 4 prohits.

The pooja took place from morning to evening and during the late evening pooja, both Nayan and Prabhu Deva exchanged the garlands infront of the Yaga Agni. Only close circle was allowed to participate in the pooja and was said to be boycotted by Prabhu Deva’s brothers.

The hot star Anushka who has swept the audience off their feet with ‘Arundhati’ has now arrived with another strong role.

The movie starts with 1985 backdrop where a girl is born at temple on a stormy night for a couple (Chandramohan and Rajitha). The temple priest who witnesses this, names the girl as Panchakshari. He also says that the girl gets goddess in her once in a year and for rest of 364 days she will be like normal girl.

Panchakshari (Anushka) is regarded as godwoman in the village and the pious devotees regularly do poojas in the temple and they also carry on a grand bonalu festival once in every year and sees goddess coming inside Panchakshari. They ask her some questions and clear their doubts and woes.

There is a cruel villain (Pradeep Rawat) in Janagam wants to pilfer the treasure underneath the temple, as reported by a secret Archeologist. Panchakshari and the devoted people in village become hurdles for him. So he wants to eliminate Panchakshari. Did he get succeeded in that?

On the other hand Honey (Anushka) is a fashion designer in city and has big dreams. She has a loving family and they want her to get married.

Sequence of events lead Honey to the Village and she makes few shocking discoveries. Who is Honey? What does Honey do to get out the problems? All this forms the rest of the story.

Performances:
Anushka has done her bit well and she has fitted herself aptly in the form of a city girl and also as a dedicated devotee. However, her character was not etched with intensity which led to hiccups.

Pradeep Rawat as usual flexed his muscles and used the dubbed baritone voice to look heavy. As such, his character could not deliver that evil shade though his screen presence was good.

Samrat was alright, the ‘Magadheera’ track of Brahmi failed to impress, Ali was alright, Nasser was natural, the artist doing Pradeep Rawat’s wife fitted the role well, Chandramohan was usual, Subbaraya Sharma was standard, Telangana Sakuntala, Raghu Babu, Sudha Rani were routine. Others were there to fill the screen.

Analysis:
The film runs on an age old track and we have seen that from the times of K R Vijaya so the content part was very weak.

The narrative was poor and the poor writing skills were seen. Few important scenes lacked conviction and what was meant to be an emotional scene ended up becoming a comedy scene for the audience. There are many inconsistencies in the script and not one track fails to take off for a continuous time to engage the audience. It is like bits and pieces put together. One can clearly see traces of ‘Ammoru’ ‘Arundhati’ etc but there is no comparison between them and this same old story.

Samudra has got a very silly way of having comedy and the same silliness is seen even in some crucial scenes. He sure has to update himself with the taste of the audience and the ability to involve them in the film.

Anushka’s introduction song must have been canned in the backdrop of some mall instead of temple. Wearing western outfits and shaking her ‘back’ in front of camera is disgusting and proves to be a wrong blend.

Anushka failed to show ‘roudram’ in her eyes in climax shot. She kept the tongue out like a patient before a doctor but not as Mahakali.

Screenplay is not intact and failed to pull audiences interest

Chandramohan revealing his connection with Nazar sounded like a comedy. People are laughing at this amateur scene in theater.

‘Magadheera’ comedy of Brahmanandam is not presented well.

Ali’s comedy started with great expectations but ended up weak.

Aghora’s character couldn’t pump in fear factor but boosted up sense of humor among audiences those were seen cracking jokes looking at that character

The villain factor is poor and the protagonist Panchakshari’s character is not presented with elevation. The initial scene says that Panchakshari is going to be powerful divine girl. But that’s not shown in required tempo afterwards.

Songs are good, cinematography is excellent and the art direction is also impressive. On a whole, this movie is ruled out for A centers and it’s a doubt if B, C center audience patronage this as their taste is also changing from decade to decade. This movie recalls the goddess movies of 80s and early 90s.

Bottom Line: Panchakshari- Punch Less

Bala Krishna’s ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ launched!

On the eve of Bala Krishna’s 50th birthday, his forthcoming project ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ was launched today at Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy Stadium in Hyderabad. It is directed by Dasari Narayana Rao and produced by C Kalyan under Teja cinema banner, while Valluripalli Ramesh is presenting the film. TDP Chief N Chandra Babu Naidu has given the clap, while Dasari Padma, wife of Dasari Narayana Rao, switched on the camera.

While speaking at the event, Dasi Narayana Rao said “It’s great to see Balakrishna dancing at this age. I’ll not talk much about this film, but I want the film to do the talking”.

Hero Bala Krishna said “This is not looking like ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ movie launch, but I feel like ‘Parama Veera Chakra’ jubilee function. Director Dasari Narayana Rao has been one of Telugu film industry’s top people and we were planning to do this film since quite some time. He did blockbuster films with my father (Sr. NTR) like ‘Manushulantha Okkatey’, ‘Sardaar Paaparayudu’, ‘Bobbili Puli’, etc. and I’m happy to do Parama Veera Chakra on my 50th Birthday and as Dasari Narayana Ra’s 150th film”.

Naga Chaitanya and Kajal @ Bangkok from June 21st

It became quite common for the directors to have at least one song shoot in Bangkok for their new films. Now, the movie of Naga Chaitanya and Kajal is no exception. They both together are working for a film produced by Siva Prasad Reddy for Sri Kamakshi Enterprises and directed by Ajay Bhuyan. The movie will be shooting in Bangkok and other parts of Thailand from June 21st. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the first time for Naga Chaitanya’s film. The movie is said to be a youthful entertainer. Gnana Sekhar, who has recently done for ‘Vedam’ is handling the camera for this new film also.
